Experience

I have tutored college students at Ave Maria University for two years. I tutor history, writing, philosophy, literature, study skills, and math. I also taught summer school at a charter school for the past two summers. In 2014 I taught 7th grade math, and in 2015 I taught 1st grade reading and writing. I also work for an online school that offers over 80 courses per semester.

Hobbies

I love running, travelling, and shooting archery. I am definitely an outdoorsy person. I also love learning. When I was a little kid I was homeschooled and I taught myself to read just by watching my mom teach my two older siblings. I have never stopped loving learning! I love working with people of all ages, and I have experience with people from 6 years old all the way to college seniors. My favorite part is when you see the student get to that "ah ha" moment where you know they are truly learning. I was homeschooled until high school and then went to a private school and dual-enrolled at a community college. I have experience working with homeschool students, private school students, and public school students.
