I am currently attending Edison State College, where I am pursuing Associates of Arts degree in general education. I plan to receive my degree at the close of the Summer 2011 semester, and I currently uphold a 3.1 program GPA.
Experience
I have 5+ years experience as a substitute teacher and/or working with children in a learning environment. I have 8+ years of work experience in business organization and accounting. I have completed multiple college level courses in accounting, finance, and economics; and I continue to pursue a degree in business administration. The working of numbers and math have always come natural to me and I find it easy to explain their concepts to others. I have helped to tutor fellow college students in the areas of College Math, Algebra, Economics and Accounting. Last but certainly not least, I am a mother myself, so I understand the importance of promoting self-confidence and the understanding of learning styles when it comes to students.
